ACT at the Zesty 2-Minute Film Festival! ✨🎬 ACT Director Candice Poole was honoured to serve as a judge and sponsor for the Zesty 2-Minute Film Festival. It was wonderful to be part of an event that celebrates and supports talented local filmmakers and performers. ✨ The winner of Best Actress, Abigail Jonker, has won a 6-week short course of her choice at ACT. Congratulations, Abigail! We can’t wait to work with you! 🎉 ACT Senior Coach Tamryn Speirs sponsored a prize for the winner of Best Young Performer: time with her on set, an amazing opportunity to gain invaluable industry experience. ⭐️ A special shoutout to alum Hendri Mouton and Professional Program Year student Kudzai Makusha, who shared the award for Best Microdrama! 🏆✨ Congratulations to all of our students and graduates who took part. We are so proud to see our ACT family creating, performing and making their mark on screen. ❤️

Unlocking the African Actor 2026 | Actor Spaces in collaboration with @africacreativemarketglobal, brought together actors from over 10 African countries to learn, connect, and grow together. Representing countries including South Africa, Lesotho, Botswana, Kenya, Uganda, Nigeria, Zambia, and more. The programme became more than a learning experience, it became a space where talent met opportunity, meaningful connections were formed, and a shared vision for African storytelling came to life. To every actor who was part of this journey, thank you for showing up and investing in your craft. We can’t wait to see where your journeys lead next. As Actor Spaces turns 10 this year, moments like these remind us why we do what we do. Here’s to a decade of building talent and to the many stories still to come. #ActorSpace #UnlockingtheAfricanActor2026 #AfricaCreativeMarket #ActorSpacesTurns10
