mock trial… where to begin ⚖️
-

i thought college clubs were kind of silly. i didn’t, and still don’t, get the sorority hype. i thought breezing by and keeping my head down would be the most effective route, and that i didn’t need distractions. but this club, this amazing group of other young adults, proved me wrong. i don’t know who i’d be without mock trial!

making the competition team changed my life for the better. i played five witness roles on both prosecution and defense, working alongside my team to show up and out at competitions. i learned so much about myself, my friends and future colleagues. i gained so many skills; speech, memorization, and improvisation. i combined two of my most favorite talents- acting and law!

a “killer” case, the late evenings shredding it on material, the long talks during night drives, early morning breakfast with that nervous feeling to perform. traveling, competing, a team dinner and doing it all over again in two weeks. i will dearly miss it all! :,)

thank you to my amazing team mates, executive board, assistant coaches, and amazing head coach for all your work and dedication! i will never forget this experience, you all have left such a meaningful impression on my life.

i will miss you, indianapolis mock trial ♥️🤍
