“Gary who??” July’s short is out now; link in bio

This month, I wanted to try something I’ve never done before, which was a one shot. Honestly? Didn’t think I’d be able to do it. I had planned on shooting this last month, but had to move it, and shortly after the beginning of this month I realized I’d have to produce this thing, the most complex thing I’ve done yet, by myself. And ngl yall, shit almost broke me. If you didn’t hear from me this month, this is why. But with the combination of my actual sweat and tears, support from my amazing partner @ojxstristes and a stellar camera department helmed by the incredible @juliakempkabenson , we somehow made it happen. I genuinely cannot believe we shot this thing two days ago, and now it’s a finished film today. Special thank you to @melvinknightmusic for being down to allow use of music from his late father’s latest EP “Backshots”, and for @galaxyfrancis for the use of TWO of his songs in the background. Thank you to all the cast, extras, and crew for showing up and showing out, and @internetkeem for helping out a TON w the location, and I hope “SO CHILL” can earn a chuckle outta you :)
