Post Show Sundays Shoots

One of my favorite parts of a show was Sunday shoots.

Every shoot was personal. It wasn’t just business. Every shot had to be a statement. I wanted you feel that moment of a last rep or a pose.

Scouted gyms to use my lighting gear. I didn’t trust gym lighting, I always want my own lightning on an athlete. Each shot had to be a statement.

One hr set up & test lit before a shoot.
Time and space dictated what the athlete and I were going to do with in a 2 hour window. That gave me time to move lighting or lenses around.

The client (company) would make their requests and suggestions, then talk with the athlete, narrow down details and offer we went.

Quality shots over Quantity
Extraordinarily over Monotony
Studio lit over Natural light

The session itself is the best part. One minute, you’re starting with Push downs next minute, time is up, next person is coming in. Snacks and water in my lighting bag, Brandon likes fruit snacks and had them at the ready lol.

Shoot the 💩 connect with the athlete for bit of time.
I didn’t shoot enough to be honest.

Never the less every shoot was awesome

It’s of tremendous value when some with knowledge, recourses, and experience wants to contribute to your success. I’m thankful for everyone who has helped me along the way. It has formulated the person I am today.
Be keen to opportunity when it knocks on your door, it could be a once in a lifetime opportunity. Take it while you can!
-you miss 100% of the pitches you don’t swing at…
Swing for the fences my friends!

Grateful for where I’m at in this life at 40 years old. Can’t believe this is 40 years old. Oh Lordy, I’m 40.

Celebrated the milestone birthday by capturing what has really become a pillar in my life, training and progression towards an always evolving goal. It’s a lifestyle and challenge I fully embraced 6 years ago now after a difficult life altering event for me. While I would trade it all for just one more moment, I’m able to practice gratitude for the path it pushed me towards.

When the last days that I will have unrestricted calories and Man, I’m putting them to good use. Thank you @neanderfit and @mr.thicccums for keeping me safe during my attempts at volume!! The focus now going forward after this lift cycle will be maximum output so that I can begin to cut down some of the body fat. Hopefully in the next few months, I’ll be back down to 255 pounds with a majority of the size that I currently have inching over closer to that 500 pound bench however this year it looks like I’m not necessarily going to get it. If I had had an additional month and a half to grow and eat in an unrestricted manner, I would probably be able to get it for at least one as I’ve already gotten it for half a rep +6 inches back upward. Overall, very satisfied with the results and keeping around 18% body fat is a good goal for somebody my size as well as the amount of performance that I am going for. The long walk to 5% begins! #pushday #bodybuilding #coach #explore #growth
