We tried the cinnamon rolls, lemon bar, cupcake, brownie, chocolate muffin, coffee cake muffin, ham and cheese roll, and maple bacon scone!

I haven’t had a scone in YEARS, and the maple bacon scone was hands down my favorite! 🥹

Everything we got was sooo delicious! And the best part? It’s a dedicated gluten-free bakery!

Summer so far: Carmel edition ☀️

My favorite place on earth is especially beautiful this time of year, and I feel lucky every time I get to spend a few days here.

The days are filled with long beach walks, scenic drives, morning coffee by the fire, hours of laughter with a dear friend, and a few memorable meals along the way. We even stumbled across a tiny sea urchin on the beach—one of those simple little discoveries that somehow delights me. That beach takes my breath away every single time. 🌊

A few Carmel traditions never change. We always kick off our girls’ trips with brunch at @thestationaery (and yes, a bottle of champagne 🥂). I also made my usual stop @necesgfbakery for road snacks—the peanut butter cookie remains undefeated.
If I have the time, I’m taking a drive up to Big Sur to visit my cows along the ocean and take in those majestic views. @nepenthe.bigsur on a sunny day with a bottle of bubbles is hard to beat 🌞🥂

As for new finds, @jejucarmel was a standout. I’m still thinking about those crispy tater tots covered in melted cheese, and the salmon rice bowl was every bit as good as it looks. Another longtime favorite is @mariscos_puertonuevo in Seaside, where I order the shrimp diabla every single time. Fresh, spicy, and absolutely delicious.

Beautiful beaches, cozy mornings, great food, and even better company. Carmel, I’ll never get tired of you. ♥️
