Last night was pure ✨✨queer magic✨✨ even busted out my dragon crystal necklace I wore every single day of middle school as a little fantasy gay kid 🧙🏻‍♂️🧙🏻‍♂️🧙🏻‍♂️

My fave Chappell was everything I knew she would be, I stan a powerhouse vocalist who sings live and just wailllls 😭😭😭😭 California (my favorite) was just stunning… an electric crowd… the fact that it’s fantasy themed with a gothic rock castle flames included… Let alone, surprise NANCY WILSON rock queen 💀💀 the world needs more love, joy, electric guitar, and knee-high leather boots 💁🏼‍♂️

In a world when certain people want to shut down queer voices and queer spaces and erase symbols that represent who we are so we don’t stay seen, THESE MOMENTS ARE ELEVATED. NEVER STOP BURNING THAT QUEER LIGHT 🔥🔥🔥 Seeing so many queer lil boys just being who they are and beaming to be around it all, makes me teary.

…oh, and fuck those who support that shit and those that talk that shit.
IM GONNA KEEP ON DANNNNCINNNNN 💁🏼‍♂️🐴🐴🐴 LONG LIVE SHIGELLLLLLLLAAAA

🌻🌻**SUMMER ON A PLATE**🌻🌻

Created a court-bouillon of green peppercorns, lemon, bay leaf, thyme, and sav blanc for some shrimp. Chopped up and tossed with some crab claw meat, dill, tarragon, chive and used to fill some butterhead in buttered brioche rolls.

On the side, I made a farmer’s market dream of a salad: sliced Lambkin melon, layered with heirloom tomato, nectarine, and peach slices. Drizzled with olive oil, aggressively salted, and garnished with the thinnest red onion, capers, basil leaf, red pepper flake and pecorino romano.

Wouldn’t be summer without my fave flowers either 🥹🥹

For @necromancer_discodancer ‘s birthday, I wanted to do something special and transport him to a French bistro, so who else would I trust but @inagarten herself! I made a menu of her Provençal Scallops, her Potato Fennel Gratin, and her Garlic Sauteed Spinach. And for dessert, I used her Easy Chocolate Mousse and replicated the presentation from @lecinqmars, a gorgeous bistro tucked in behind the Louvre that we stumbled upon on our last trip to Paris, where it’s served “à discretion” from a giant ceramic bowl 🥹Peter was surprised 😍, the food was divine, and honestly I think I’d make a great French countryside wife 😅🫶🏻🫶🏻 Bon Appetit!

The ways you center me and ground me by always being yourself, you’re gentle, and kind, and goofy, and adventurous, and artistic in ways that I’m not, your soft attention to the details around you when you’re nature-bathing, your smile and mischievous twinkle in the eye is the greatest I’ll ever know. We’re never promised tomorrow, but I’ll love you forever @necromancer_discodancer and Kylo too, my little Jedi boys. ❤️🌈
