What an unforgettable weekend at Golden Hand Tattoo Convention! 💖

This was my very first tattoo convention in Australia, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

As an artist who recently moved to Perth and is now rebuilding my career here, I was incredibly excited to showcase a very special piece: a Pokémon tattoo featuring the entire Totodile evolution line, created using a mix of styles including pixel, patch, embroidery patch, colour, and gemstone effects. My goal for this convention was simple: to introduce myself to the Australian tattoo community and show people what I can do as an artist, and I can honestly say that I completely achieved it.

Seeing so many visitors, collectors, and incredibly talented artists whose work I admire stop by to compliment the piece was something I will never forget. It meant the world to me and made all the hard work worthwhile.

A huge thank you to my amazing canvas, @pokeemama , for trusting me with this project. We completed a 17 hour tattoo across two days, and she handled it like an absolute champion. Her joy and enthusiasm spread to everyone around her, making the whole experience even more special. ✨

Thank you to everyone who visited my booth, supported my art, picked up some merch, or simply stopped for a chat. I met so many wonderful people, made new friends, and shared countless conversations about art, tattoos, and the things we love. What started as a convention quickly became an experience that genuinely warmed my heart.

I’m leaving this weekend feeling incredibly grateful, inspired, and excited for what’s ahead. This convention gave me the chance not only to share my work, but also to connect with so many amazing people and artists. I already can’t wait for the next one.

If you’re looking for a tattoo artist in Perth who loves creating colourful tattoos, Pokémon tattoos, kawaii tattoos, and nostalgic pop culture pieces, I’d love to bring your idea to life. 💕
