This young, female standard poodle has lived a short life that all signs point to not well taken care of. That is all about to change, with my neighborhood community we caught her, gave her shelter and safe space while all the platforms could be accessed to post her, all the groomers, local vets, signs all over the neighborhood, no chip. She is currently in her 1st night of Foster thru @californiadoodlerescues. She will be seen by vet on Sunday and get her spayed and medical issues addressed. She is intuitive, gentle, loving, shy and smart. She needs time to heal & trust but will be looking for her forever home. Adding a pause at the bottom removes momentum and forces you to maintain tension and control in the most challenging part of the movement. Paused RDLs help: 🔥 Strengthen the hamstrings & glutes 🔥 Develop better hip-hinge mechanics 🔥 Build posterior-chain strength for running, jumping, and everyday movement 🔥 Improve stability & body control 🔥 Increase time under tension without simply adding more weight 🔥 Reinforce proper positioning through the hips, core, and back The goal isn't always to move more weight. “Wherever life can be lived, a good life can be lived.” I used to repeat this to myself constantly in the hospital with Noah. But the truth is… Noah taught me what it actually meant. Watching a little boy go through things no child should ever have to go through… and still smile. Still laugh. Still find joy in bubbles, books, trains and the smallest moments. That’s a kind of strength I don’t think I’ll ever fully be able to explain. He taught me that joy doesn’t always come from your circumstances. Sometimes it comes from the strength to find something beautiful despite them. Some of the greatest moments of my life happened in a place I never would’ve chosen to be. And I think about that all the time. If Noah could find a reason to smile in those moments… I can find a reason to keep living a good life in mine. Perspective is everything. ❤️ 🪽 RIP my boy, Noah. Forever my greatest teacher. 🪽

This birthday felt different in the best way. Instead of a big party, I chose to spend it in smaller, more meaningful moments with the people I love most and I wouldn’t have had it any other way. The end of last year changed me. Losing one of my closest friends reminded me just how precious time really is. Because of that, I’ve been more intentional not only with how I spend my time, but also with who I share it with. Surrounding myself with friendships that are pure, intentional, and aligned. I have never felt more at peace. This year, I’m moving with more intention traveling more, loving deeper, saying the things that matter out loud, and giving people their flowers while they’re here to receive them. To everyone who called, texted, showed up, or simply held me in their thoughts, I thank you. And thank you for the Zelles, gifts, and flowers 😢 every gesture, big or small, meant so much to me. Your love, your energy, and your pure intentions mean more than I can fully put into words. God, thank You for another year of life, growth, and grace. Thank You for covering me, guiding me, and surrounding me with love. I pray for continued strength, clarity, and purpose in the year ahead. Here’s to living fully, loving loudly, and never taking a single moment for granted.
