POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

💕 To Sammy’s family, thank you from the bottom of our hearts for being there with us. Having you come, support this event, and allow us to celebrate Sammy alongside you meant more than we could ever adequately put into words. It was truly an honor to share that evening with you.

🙏 And thank you to everyone who showed up for Sammy. Whether you knew him for decades, skated alongside him, worked with him, or simply knew the warmth and kindness he brought into a room, you helped make this memorial something beautiful.

🪽 Sammy may no longer be standing rinkside or rolling beside us, but his presence will always be felt in this community. His memory lives in the stories we tell, the friendships he helped create, and every time those wheels hit the floor.

❤️ We will love you, cherish you, and remember you forever, Sammy.

Keep rolling above the clouds. 🛼☁️❤️

Trophy night isn’t just about who had the best dip, the fastest fast backwards, the dopest freestyle or the hardest strut. It was a celebration of skating, the skate community and how we lift each other up and encourage greatness…on and off the wood 🛼🫶🏆

It’s been an emotional month as we close one chapter of @pgh_sk8 history and start a new one. We are so grateful to @youthplacesyp for taking a chance on a community based roller skating group trying to start lessons. Without them we wouldn’t be the success story we are! So many skaters have been created here and we can’t wait to see what #homewood has in store for us.
“I Can SK8, I Will SK8, I Am a Skater!!”

This isn’t goodbye, it’s see you next week in Homewood.
Thank you for all the love and support skate fam.♥️🛼
