Life has been a bit weird lately, and I’m struggling to celebrate anything, but I couldn’t leave @2funkyempire without showing some of my favourite memories. There are definitely way more that I couldn’t fit into one post.

I just want to say thank you to everyone who welcomed me into the Leicester Music scene, even though I had no clue what I was doing 3 years ago. I have learnt so much, made so many new friends and achieved things I never thought were possible for me.

I haven’t managed to get everyone in these photos but I want to shout out everyone I’ve crossed paths with through this job (even the annoying ones 👀) a special shout out to @t_o_soul as even though we took a while to click, he’s become one of my best mates even though he’s sooo loud and annoying.

I’ll still be around for a few more weeks, so feel free to drop me a message if you need anything.

My favourite project “Project LIVE” will always have a special place in my heart, @lisa_millett_music @elyodeoj @guerillabass @malcatraz_music @danderdrums @macariomatheson and Tony are all incredibly talented musicians and I look forward to seeing the next cohort next year!

I’ll be starting a new role and new challenge in October which is exciting!

I’d love for those of you who are free, to come and join me on Thursday 24th September for my last open mic with 2Funky, I’ve booked a reallyyyyy cool act to open up who will get us all dancing 💃🏻
