Who Gets to Be Funny in India?

Once sidelined, India’s women comedians are now owning the spotlight. They aren’t just telling jokes. They’re telling truths we often ignore.

Maybe that’s why it hits harder.

Just a few women with big dreams and very stubborn hearts. 🥳✨

Still soaking in the feeling of receiving the “Grihasobha Inspire Award” for Business Leadership. What a night, full of music, good food, inspiring women, and the kind of sisterhood that quietly reminds you why you started in the first place.

And honestly, sharing the stage with so many incredible and well-known women we’ve looked up to for years felt a little surreal. One of those “wait… is this actually happening?” moments.

Most days, building something meaningful looks nothing like the glam version people imagine. It’s messy notes, long calls, self-doubt, coffee, and showing up anyway. So nights like these feel extra special.

Because when you’re busy building quietly, awards like these create a little noise for you, the good kind. The kind that makes you pause for a second, smile, and then get back to work even harder. 🏆✨

ANC 2026 | Gala Dinner Night

An evening to unwind, connect, and celebrate.
On 18th April, we hosted our Gala Dinner as part of ANC 2026, bringing together teams and our valued partners — Samsung, AOC, Dahua Technology, Deepcool, Corsair, XPG, QNAP, PNY, MSI, Inno3D, and NVIDIA.
Beyond presentations and strategy, moments like these strengthen the relationships that truly drive our ecosystem forward. Conversations flowed, partnerships deepened, and the energy carried well into the night.
Because great business is built not just in boardrooms, but also around shared tables.

The highlight of the evening was Neeti Palta’s stand-up act, turning the room into a burst of laughter, sharp humor, and memorable moments.

At the launch of @twinklerkhanna's book #mrsfunnybonesreturns, we asked a few remarkable women about their hard-earned wisdom.

What have you grown wiser about in the last ten years?

#longpostalert⚠️

I walked into what I thought would be a typical book launch.
It turned out to be something far more intentional.

@twinklerkhanna’s ‘Mrs Funnybones Returns’ launch at @jwmarriottdelhi wasn’t just about a book.
It was a statement - delivered with champagne and laughter, but a statement nonetheless. 🥂

@chikisarkar, the force behind @juggernaut.in , spoke about widening opportunities for women in roles still seen as ‘male-coded.’
No grand declarations.
Just decisive action.
Real change often arrives quietly, and yesterday it was unmistakable.

And then came Twinkle.
Sharp. Self-aware. Unapologetically observant.
She writes like she’s chatting over coffee. Self-deprecating. Funny. Relatable
But it’s the undertone that stays with you.

Her humour is a trojan horse.
It disarms you before delivering truths about marriage, motherhood, and the messy middle of life.
That’s rare. And necessary.
A reminder that humour isn’t an escape.
It is a lens.
And sometimes, the clearest mirror we have.

@sethishibani deserves special mention for being an exceptional community partner, bringing together readers who care about stories that matter. Proud of you, my friend!

As someone building a cross-border ecosystem for women-led businesses at @connexusglobalventures , I felt the deeper thread running through the room.
The ripple touches far more than the moment we are in.
In leadership circles, business forums, peer communities and global networks.
A world where representation is not symbolic.
It is systemic.

Kudos @chikisarkar, @twinklerkhanna, @sethishibani and all the leading ladies, for doing your bit to change the narrative, one room at a time!

Some evenings don’t just unfold… they leave an imprint. ✨

Last night was one of those moments as the queen of quirk and charm, the brilliantly witty @twinklerkhanna Twinkle Khanna, unveiled her latest book, Mrs. Funnybones Returns, at @jwmarriottdelhi Aerocity.

She's is a personality you can’t quite box. Effortlessly funny without trying, graceful without being distant, and refreshingly real. The way she observes, speaks, and laughs makes you feel connected and unexpectedly uplifted. I’ve admired her for years, but after last night, that admiration found a whole new depth. ❤️

Adding to the evening’s sparkle were icons like Sharmila Tagore ji, and the ever-hilarious Neeti Palta, whose presence and energy turned the launch into a beautiful celebration of brilliance, storytelling and womanhood.

A heartfelt thank you to my dear @shibani Chand Sethi and #ChaptersbyShibani for the invitation. Seeing you as the Community Partner for the event made me so proud. More power and love to you always. ❤️🤗

The night was sprinkled with thoughtful touches —
🍾 @sula brought the cheer with the most delightful bubblies.
🎁 @irth_houseoftitan pampered us with the loveliest giveaways.
🍽️ @jwmarriottdelhi served irresistible munchies we happily indulged in.

But what truly made the evening memorable were the conversations, the spontaneous laughter, and the company of inspiring women who turned the moments even more special.🥰

Left with a full heart and gratitude for an evening that felt real, warm, and wonderfully unforgettable. ✨💛
