Together we donated OVER 100,000 MEALS to the @ctxfoodbank, we turned a day of inner and outer BEAUTY into a day of GIVING BACK!

Thank you @heb, @uber @ubereats, and over 300 women who came together at our first @womenoftoday Beauty Summit
to learn, connect, and redefine what beauty really means.

Because when we learn to better care for ourselves, we pass that knowledge on to our daughters, friends, families, and communities!

From powerful conversations about self-compassion with @neffselfcompassion, skincare with @galariadermatology, makeup with @laurenandersen, hair with @lulyjames_, and lymphatic health with @brazilianbeautybarla, to laughing and crying with poet @georgie_jonez and a heartfelt conversation with MaMac about what we pass down through generations. ❤️

A HUGE thank you to our incredible partners for bringing it all to life!
@heb and @beautybyheb with the Beauty Bites Market and Scrub Bar,
@ubereats @uber for treating everyone to dinner! Now also providing the women drivers feature and beauty products delivery!
@ninjakitchen with the Glow On Ice slushie bar,
@paulmitchell with the Hair Help Desk, and
@drinkolipop for keeping us refreshed!

Plus @andreaburroughs_ doing guests color analysis, and
@themakeupdoctor sharing her expertise together with other makeup artists at The Makeup Help Desk.

@minteventdesign @josponddesigns @womenoftoday TEAM!

Beauty goes beyond how we look. It’s how we care for ourselves, each other, and the world around us.

Take care of yourself.

If you changed your outfit three times today, avoided the mirror, or stood in the back of the photo again, I see you 💜

Maybe you skipped the pool party. Maybe you said “I’ll start Monday” for the hundredth time. Maybe you looked at an old picture and thought, I wish I looked like that now, and then remembered you hated your body back then too.

That voice in your head is exhausting. And it didn’t come out of nowhere.

So many of us grew up watching the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show like it was the Super Bowl.

One body type, a pair of wings, and “Train Like an Angel” workouts telling us how to get there.

The show got canceled in 2019 after years of criticism for its lack of diversity and unrealistic beauty standards.

When it came back, the 2025 show opened with a model nine months pregnant and had Olympic athletes on the runway.

The research backs up what so many of us felt.

A huge analysis of 77 studies found that seeing ultra-thin bodies in media made women more dissatisfied with their own.

Add social media to that and we’re seeing these images all day long 😮‍💨

So please hear this: that voice learned those standards. You can unlearn them.

Researcher @neffselfcompassion found that women who practiced self-compassion had less body shame and more body appreciation.

And if loving your body feels too far away, start with respecting it.

Your body is one part of who you are.

Try this today:

🤍 Hand on your heart, slow breath, and say, “This is really hard right now.”
🤍 Ask, “What would I tell my best friend?” Then say it to you.
🤍 Thank your body for one thing it did today.
🤍 Unfollow accounts that make you feel worse.

If it’s affecting how you eat, move, or live, please reach out to a therapist. You deserve support 💜

How to support someone who’s struggling is in the comments 👇
