This festive season, discover a new generation of Indian design at CICERONI EDIT VOL. 13 — THE FESTIVE & HOLIDAY EDIT, presented by Ciceroni @ciceroni.in in association with Aarushi Kumar @aarushi0301 at House of Hidden Treasures, Narain Niwas Palace @houseofhiddentreasures_

Bringing together 14 emerging homegrown labels, all showing in Jaipur for the first time, the edit looks at festive dressing through a contemporary lens - rooted in Indian craft and textiles, yet made for how we dress and live today in modern times.

From contemporary festive wear and one of a kind jewellery to upcycled leather bags, elevated glassware, statement bindis and thoughtful Diwali gifts, there’s plenty to discover beyond the expected. And pieces to take along on your next holiday, too.

Come discover new emerging designers, find something that feels like you, and make your festive choices a little less predictable, away from mainstream choices.

I don’t want to photograph perfect women.
I want to photograph real women.
No heavy makeup. No elaborate styling. No carefully rehearsed poses. Sometimes there’s a little lipstick. Sometimes there’s nothing at all.

I tell every woman who comes to my studio: come as yourself.

Because you’re not going to wear a pair of Coloured Ears earrings only when you’re perfectly dressed, standing in beautiful light, ready for a photograph.

You’re going to wear them with your pajamas.
To meet your friends.
On a date.
To dinner with your family.
While your hair is a little wild.
On a day when you feel beautiful.
And perhaps, even more importantly, on a day when you don’t.

So I want you to see the jewellery on a woman who is living, not posing.

Sometimes I ask these women to tell me something - something funny, uncomfortable, joyful, irritating, deeply personal, completely mundane.

And then I photograph them while they talk.

The smile before the smile.
The expression that appears when they disagree.
The way their face changes when they remember something.
The laugh they didn’t plan.
The silence.
The wildness.

Those are the photographs I love the most.

Because jewellery, to me, isn’t about transforming you into someone else.

It is about seeing more of yourself. And perhaps that’s the most radical thing I can put on social media: A woman, exactly as she is. Raw. Unfiltered. Unrehearsed.

And wearing something extraordinary. This is how I want you to imagine yourself before you own a pair.
Not as a model.

As you.

The Material Edit is Ciceroni’s response to that.

For the first time in Ahmedabad, we are bringing together just 11 independent jewellery and accessory designers whose work reflects an exceptional exploration of material, craft, and contemporary design.

Each designer creates jewellery and accessories using different mediums, be it polymer clay, wood, beads, natural gemstones, resin, corrugated upcycled paper, upcycled leather, textiles, brass, or silver. These designers share the belief that materials are more than the starting point of an object; they are central to its identity, its story, and its emotional connection with the person who owns it.

Just before Raksha Bandhan, The Material Edit also offers a new perspective on gifting - an opportunity to discover jewellery and accessories with character, craftsmanship, and lasting meaning for your sisters.
