This baby girl is so lucky to be born into this incredible village of love!!! She’s been sprinkled in magic wishes for a life of travel and a community so amazing she’ll never be alone. I had the unbelievable pleasure of getting to celebrate my friend and mountain-mover @karissabodnar last week. @nehatkumar @yasminknouri and @cassandrathurswell created such a magical night. The birthday dinner was filled with so many succulent people - all a mirror to the goodness and generosity that Karissa brings to the table every single day. Feeling very lucky to be in the company of such bad ass women.

The room was full of people who didn’t take the easy road.

I had the privilege of judging and presenting at the @ey_us Entrepreneur Of The Year Gala in LA — and having met so many of the finalists throughout the program, watching them be celebrated felt incredibly meaningful.

My greatest life + leadership hack? Having friends.

It might sound simple to some, but as a person who moved around as a kid, who’s from a super small town and moved to multiple cities in my 20s: (Seattle, Manhattan, Los Angeles), I know what it’s like to feel like the “new kid at school” and feel lonely.

This community of incredible humans lifts me up every single day.

They inspire me to be a better leader for our team and our @thrivecausemetics community by the way they move throughout the world. They create a container for connection whether it’s FaceTiming from the shower, traveling the world together, or going for a walk. Most of all, they love me unconditionally and together, we support one another’s hopes and dreams.

One week ago today, I had the honor of attending the @thefemalefoundercollective Cabinette kickoff dinner in LA.

It was incredibly inspiring to be in a room full of talented, creative, smart, fun and fierce women that are all going after their goals and building their businesses. The energy in the room was so open, supportive, and welcoming. I’m still struggling to find the words to describe the special magic that @beckyminkoff, @alikwyatt7, and their team have created.

I feel so honored, humbled, and deeply grateful to be included among this group of spectacular women. I can’t wait to see what this year brings!
