Junior year for this young man 🙌🏼!
Nehemiah spent the whole summer living every minute of the day to the absolute fullest. There was barely a moment where he wasn’t being his social self-golfing, surfing, biking, or eating Canes. His ability to live a yolo/fomo life is unprecedented. Just when we think everything is shutting down, at night, he’ll be making brownies and asking us the turn the hot tub on for him and some friends. I don’t know how many times we said “Bro!” with this pose 🤷🏻‍♀️ or this face 😮🫥🥱🫠. We can’t keep up.

He is sort of excited to be back at school, but not for the structure, the report cards or the activities. He likes lunch, the friends, and the sports teams!
Nehemiah, we are praying for you as you begin this year. Remember that God is faithful to you, always has been and always will be. You are a living walking testimony of God’s love and persistence. And we can’t wait to see who, how and how often you extend your non-stop precious life too-keep being an includer and an inviter because you never know what Gods going to do!
I’m going to hug you super long everyday before you go to school, so slow down and let me squeeze the heck out of you because I love you so much 🥰!

We summered well 🫶🏻
We spent time at the beach, the backyard pool, celebrating my 50th 1980’s style, and we enjoyed time with family & friends. Titus took a road trip with friends to the Tetons, Gwen played lot of beach volleyball in July, and Nehemiah surfed and golfed up a storm.
To be honest, we kept it close and we kept it simple. Soaked in as much time with Titus as we could and cherished our Sunday night family dinners with all 8 of us ❤️

I picked up my camera yesterday, took a classic post surf sesh photo of the 3 of them I used to take a bunch during homeschool, took some photos of Gwen, some videos of the boys surfing ❤️
August days are always my favorite days of summer 🌊

I made this back in the fall/winter and never posted it 🙆🏻‍♀️. I get frozen sometimes before I hit the “share” button and reels like this live forever in “draft” mode for me in this app 🥴
So, not much to say here…just the Willmers-willmering in these pictures 🫶🏼…and the younger three have all grown 2 inches each since these were taken 😳.

Our Addie Joy became a Mrs. on March 29th and we feel abundantly full. She was born with the most gentle, romantic heart - always bent towards loving another beautifully and wholly.

To watch her meet, fall in love with, and now marry Kaden, we, as her parents, have been given the most magnificent front row seats to some of her earliest and most heartfelt prayer requests being answered.

What incredible JOY!

And she is joy!
JOY preceded and illuminated their wedding day and it will follow them all the days of their lives. Because of God.

Thank you Abba, for Mr. & Mrs. Wingerd-may their lives reflect your love, goodness, faithfulness, and abundance. And through all their peaks and pits-may they have grace and grit and push one another forward as they obey and serve You 🤍.

Happy 16th Birthday Nehemiah 🥳
15 minutes younger than Gwen, but you have always been able to hold your own alongside your confident twin sister.
You, also, do not like to be alone. It is your worst day to not see and hang out with a friend.

You gather people, you build community, you make friends, and you plan ways to spend time with them.
You can sell anything. You are a quintessential salesman.
You’re room is messy, but your thoughts are very put together.

You are slow to wake up, but when you do the party starts and it doesn’t stop until you fall asleep and every night you are the last Willmer to close their eyes.

Last month, we were shopping for a jacket for you, when a stranger approached and gave you the biggest hug and loudest friendliest welcome. He was pumped to see you. He was 50+ years old, befriended by you at work (at beach cafe), and he couldn’t stop singing your praises & how business savvy you are. This happens to us whenever I go into a store with you in HB.
People know you and like you because you make them feel seen. I love how relational you are, but not so good when you are still relating to the world past 10:30 at night.

I cannot wait to see how God uses you to bring and gather people to Him.
I love the social force that you are and the impact you make on the people around you 💙.

if the views are so amazing then where’s kaden huh? jk😏 i am SO grateful for this time with my fam & so proud of gwen for killing it at vball out there! she’s the reason we got to go on this quick little trip to kauai and it was a BLAST!
