This one’s for you @juliette_willmann 💔
Don’t have any good photos of us shredding, but I hope these beautiful moody Cass hut trip pics from @jakub_kanok_dtd capture some essence of what we’ve both devoted much of our lives to, and go some way to representing the feeling of the adventure you were experiencing in Argentina ❤️

Honest question- is it annoying to rotate your phone for this? Old school POV of big Thursday on the touring skis last week with @peteoswaldfreeskier & @soph.oswald

Superman frontflip

Ran out of landing or ran out of talent? Big Thursday on the touring skis. Knee to the face and needed a sit down.

This one’s for you Uncle Dick, thanks for your inspirational outdoor attitude. You climbing Mitre Peak in the 60s by paddling there in a canvas kayak that you made blew my mind and defined the NZ adventure spirit for me, especially after making it up there myself recently with modern kayaks and maps!

Props for starting the UC Canoe Club and pioneering whitewater kayaking in Canterbury too. I bet you would have loved paragliding.

We will carry you in our hearts on future missions. Adventure in peace 🧗☮️❤️

It may be the most photographed peak in NZ, but it’s still nice to climb 😎

By popular demand here’s the tent-losing story from the Franz-Fox glacier trip 😅 The hut was full so I slept in my @blackdiamond Firstlight tent, with ice axes as tent pegs.

Tent was frozen to the ground when I pulled out my axes and left for The Minarets, and guess I thought it was going to stay that way 🙈

By the time I got back the tent was lying in the middle of the glacier, having blown down a big cliff to get there 😂 it was scratched up, but nothing gear tape couldn’t fix (thanks BD)

My @blackdiamond_snow order just arrived for the season too, can’t wait to show off the tidy new gear! 🙏
