Dance has always been more than movement... it’s a language, a release, and a rhythm carried through generations. 🖤✨ This choreography, taught by our amazing instructor, @ninabai_ reminded me how deeply dance is woven into our Afro-Caribbean roots. From the drums of our ancestors to the dances created in celebration, resistance, community, and healing… movement has always been our way of expressing what words can’t. Every step, every hip roll, every beat is a reminder that we come from strength, creativity, and soul. Today, dance is my positive release; moments to honor history while embracing joy in the present. To move is to remember. To dance is to reclaim. 🖤🔥 #afrocaribbean #afrodance #afrospice movementismedicine ancestralrhythm danceculture positiveenergy expressyourself
