🚲 What a powerful day for active transportation in Prince George’s County!

A special thank-you to County Executive Aisha Braveboy for making the 2026 Prince George’s County Bicycle Summit & Expo a priority, and for delivering a keynote that energized the room and affirmed that safe transportation and infrastructure matter.

Thank you to Mayor Mike for welcoming us to Bowie City Hall, and to our panelists for sharing their expertise and helping residents understand the projects underway and what’s ahead.

And thank you to everyone who showed up to learn, connect, and support a safer, more connected county. The turnout was incredible. Now it’s time to turn that energy into action. Let’s keep moving forward!

The Goodfellas were outside all Labor Day weekend. 🚴🏿‍♂️💨

Good weather. Good roads. Heavy miles. No complaints.

We caught every bit of sunshine and put in work while we were at it. ☀️🫡

Goodfellas — outside where we belong. #LiveLaughandRide

***My first Crit race with @chocolate.city.criterium *** I jumped off the porch into a lions 🦁 den, totally made myself uncomfortable but this is what it takes to become successful. You must challenge yourself and I did just that. In my mind I was gonna come in first place but in reality I already won when I hit that register button. All season I have been testing my cycling limits and ride by ride I have been improving 1% each ride. I was literally shaking at the starting line, I looked cool as a fan but trust me I was not ok. My advice is to jump off the porch, take the risk and this applies to any obstacle in life. You will be much better than you started! CAT 5 DAMO signing off P48/60 3/16 laps🚴🏾🔥😂

Big shout out to Mr Carter for giving pointers before during and after the race”You wasn’t last😂”. Much respect to @_davidbeach for calling me, making sure I was hydrating, eating and doing some training during the week and thanks to @papicycles for sparking the interest to race. Thanks cycling community! #fyp #myfirstcritrace #mycyclingjourney #explore #winner

***Chocolate City Crit Cat 5*** If you look very very very closely, you won’t see me because I got dropped with the quickness 😂 My bro @heymrcarter225 said “YOU WASN’T LAST” so that’s an accomplishment in itself!!! #fyp #explore #critracing #myfirstcrit #lesson

🏁 The 2026 Chocolate City Criterium is officially in the books 📚 !

Jafe Cycling was truly honored to serve as an official sponsor of this incredible race. It was amazing to watch riders who have been training all season finally reap the rewards of their hard work—and equally exciting to see so many first-time racers step up to the starting line! 💪🏾🚴🏾‍♂️🚴🏾‍♀️

Congratulations to everyone who raced, especially all the riders who earned their place on the podium! 🏆 I’m proud to know so many of these talented, passionate, and downright dope cyclists.

Keep doing your thing, and we can’t wait to see everyone back out there next year!

Until then—see you at the shop! 🖤💛
