Date night at Nekia

Had such a lovely dinner at @nekiapnw tonight! The menu has so many amazing sounding dishes, it was so hard to choose just a few! I ended up with:

*Pork and kimchi spring rolls
*Arancini
*Mushroom crespelle (my favorite dish of the night)
*Roasted vegetable and farro salad (best salad I’ve ever had)
*Gnocchi alla romana
*Braised pork shank osso buco
*coconut lime cake
*chocolate and Nutella pots de creme

Everything was so good, I’d order it all a second time, except that there are so many other things on the menu that I want to go back and try first, like their house-made focaccia, duck confit, baby back ribs, and creme brûlée. Service was top tier, the ambiance is great. So glad to have found this little downtown gem!

Come with me to @lipservicecafe ☕🥐

Located inside the @theholmanhotel lobby in downtown Salem, Oregon, Lipservice Cafe is open 7 days a week from 6:30 AM to 1 PM—perfect for grabbing breakfast, lunch, or a delicious drink.

Their menu offers a variety of options, from light bites to hearty meals, all prepared fresh in @nekiapnw kitchen. Whether you’re grabbing food to go, sitting in the lobby, or dining inside Nekia, you’ll enjoy a welcoming and cozy atmosphere.

One small but thoughtful touch I love? Citrus water is available for self-serve.

Menu Items Ordered:

•Breakfast Burrito with Bacon – Huge portion, super filling, and packed with flavor! Definitely shareable.

•Deluxe Breakfast Sandwich with Sausage – Loved the flavor combo, and the arugula was a nice touch.

•Hot Chocolate with Coconut – Rich and comforting.

They also offer Beyond patties or the option to go meatless for their breakfast burritos and sandwiches. Plus, you’ll find French toast, steel-cut oatmeal, pastries, soups, salads, and sandwiches on the menu.

Shoutout to @chaunceyroach for the intro to Lipservice Cafe!

I had no idea this was an alternate breakfast and food option inside the Holman Hotel—and even better, it’s open to the public!

If you’re in downtown Salem, I highly recommend stopping by! Whether you’re exploring the city or looking for a cozy spot inside the Holman Hotel, Lipservice Cafe is a great choice.
