Some people see the X-rays and think, “There’s no way.”

We see possibility.

Before retiring from the Maumee Police Department after 35 years of service, Ellen dedicated her life to protecting our community. Along the way came multiple on-the-job injuries, four back surgeries, and most recently, a major spinal fusion just six months ago.

Most people would look at that and decide to slow down.

Ellen decided to fight.

Today, she’s back in the gym putting in the work with Coach Brent—one exercise, one rep, and one victory at a time.

This isn’t about lifting a slam ball.

It’s about rebuilding confidence.
Reclaiming strength.
And proving that your story doesn’t end because life gets hard.

Coach Brent has done an incredible job meeting Ellen where she is, adapting every workout to her needs while continuing to challenge her safely. That’s what great coaching looks like. It isn’t about making someone sore—it’s about helping someone become stronger than they were yesterday.

Ellen’s grit, resilience, and refusal to accept defeat inspire everyone who walks through our doors.

Stories like hers are exactly why Revitalize Fitness exists.

💙 Stronger today.
💙 Better tomorrow.

Back & Biceps is one of my favorite days to train.

Nothing beats that lat and middle back pump while working toward that upside-down Dorito V.

And if Miss Ellen is in the building… you better bring your A-game, because she’ll call you out if you don’t. 😂

Thanks for the high fives and the hug today, Ellen.
You’re the best.

Earn it.

Before the sun rises… they’re already here.

While the world sleeps, alarms get snoozed, and excuses feel comfortable…

they show up.

Not for attention.
Not for applause.
Not for anyone else.

But because they made a promise to themselves.

Early mornings aren’t easy.
Warm beds feel better.
Darkness whispers, “stay.”

Yet they choose discipline anyway.

And inside these walls, they find more than a workout.

They find:

• momentum
• accountability
• belief
• a room full of people moving with purpose

At Revitalize Fitness, we simply provide the structure.

They create the standard.

They set the tone.
They raise the energy.
They remind everyone who walks in later what commitment looks like.

Consistency becomes confidence.
Confidence becomes identity.
Identity becomes leadership.

And without realizing it…

they inspire an entire community.

If you know, you know.
If you’re here before the sun…

you’re part of something different.

Back where she belongs. 💚

Miss Ellen’s first session back after spine surgery — and you could feel the energy shift in the room.

This wasn’t about weight on a bar.
It was about courage.
About trust.
About showing up again.

We missed you.
We’re proud of you.
And we’re building stronger than before.

Welcome home.

Miss Ellen said, ‘No matter how good the sales are today, I’m getting my workout in with Brent… my health comes before all of that!’ 💪🔥

Priorities. Discipline. Long-term mindset.
That’s what we love to see. 👏

Keep showing up for YOU—everything else can wait. 💙

Lift More Age Less!
At nearly 68 years old, after 3 back surgeries (and another one on the way), Ellen continues to prove that strength has no age limit. A retired Maumee Police Sgt. of 35+ years, she shows up to Revitalize every day with grit, heart, and determination.

With Brent by her side pushing her to new limits, Ellen is living proof: there’s always something you can do, and you’re never too old to get stronger. 💙

People always say their mom is the best but they are wrong. My mom is the absolute best. She raised three of us on her own and I still don’t know how she managed to do that. We have so much fun together and laugh all the time. She’s my absolute best friend! Happy Mother’s Day!

A lot of people will say their mom is their best friend but I really freaking mean it. My mom is the absolute best and she will always be my best friend.

Today is her birthday and I’m sad I’m not there to NELEBRATE with her, I’d rather her be here anyways since it’s too damn cold in Ohio.

Happiest of birthdays Ellen! I love you so much and I hope today is amazing!
