@studioorcaanimation massive appreciation post 🙏🏻🙌🏻🙏🏻
The animations they created for #HowToRobABank continue to blow me away. Thank you to the entire team for the hard work, creativity, and attention to detail! You are amazing!

This is just a small sampling of so much more in the film. It was so fun that they included the Directors (@sethporges & @stephenrobertmorse) and Producers (@maxim.gj & #maxpeltz) & myself in the animation as #eastereggs 👀🎬🍿

Have you watched #HowToRobABank on @netflix yet?

🎬 Time to crack the vault! 💸

“How to Rob A Bank” is now streaming globally on Netflix. Check it out—it's a great watch.

I joined this project shortly before the first shoot and it’s been a wild ride ever since. Here are some of the highlights:

🎥 Three weeks in Vancouver prepping and filming the recreations with a crew of over 150, culminating in an overnight shoot under a rain tower in almost freezing weather.

🛠 Building a replica of a 90s FBI office to stage our interviews, with a talented team of Seattle locals.

🕵‍♂️ Combing 19 robberies worth of police and FBI files and every image of the treehouse we could find to ensure each detail depicted on screen was factual.

✏ Planning the animation transitions to live action as Hollywood steps out of Studio Orca’s badass storyboards and into the bank.

🎞 Collaborating with our editors as they shaped and tightened this documentary into a taut action thriller.

🎷 Hearing the composers’ evocative score infused with the inimitable energy of live musicians. You can listen to it now on Spotify!

🎛 Seeing the footage come to life in the color grade and hearing the third act of the film mixed in Dolby Atmos at Roundtable Post Production.

🖥 Working closely with Netflix’s production and post teams to ensure we were delivering a show with the highest possible production values.

A huge congratulations and thank you to the 400+ people whose work brought this film into being.

Can't wait to hear what you think about it!
