A year ago today marked the beginning of two important moments in my life:

1. I put out my first Heavywait song “Gets Better, Falls Apart” on this day last year.

2. Ironically enough, this was also the day last year that I hit rock bottom with my weight and health. This day last year is when I went to the gym and committed to making a serious change in my life. Some real gets better, falls apart ish.

Still going to the gym heavy a year later 😤 Thanks for tuning in this past year. Lot of new music on the way 😃

Seattle’s @smallpaulband sophomore album ‘I Was Love, I Was Light’ is here via @dentapes and shining bright! Their 13 song LP is a vintage-tinged, Pacific Northwest fringed indie folk-rock delight filled with deep grooves and rich 3 part harmonies. Small Paul formed in the summer of 2020 and features members of @themoondoggies @allstaropera and @gutterstagram. In just 5 years, the band has been able to put out an EP and two full-length albums littered with jams across the discography.

To celebrate their new album, Small Paul plays at @tractortavern this Saturday, June 21st in Seattle presented by @kexp & @dentapes. The SWT Foundation was fortunate enough to have Small Paul play on year 3 of our concert series in 2023 at The Sunset and they surely rocked their set from beginning to end. Get to Ballard this Saturday and don’t miss their harmonious Puget Sounds 💚💛
