POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

9 months.

9 months of rehab, setbacks, tears, victories, and learning how to trust my body again.

Today, I got the news that I’m officially cleared to play volleyball again.

After missing a season and then getting hurt in my very first game back, there were moments when this journey felt impossible. There were days I questioned if I’d ever get back on the court, and days when just getting through the next hour felt like a win.

To everyone who helped carry me through this chapter, thank you.

Nelson, thank you for being my rock and carrying me through the days I didn’t know how I would make it through. Your support never wavered, even when mine did.

Mom, thank you for always being a phone call away and for taking care of me during those first weeks after surgery when I needed it most.

To my roommates, thank you for driving me everywhere I needed to go and helping me navigate life when I couldn’t do it on my own.

Kristin, thank you for making sure I still lived life through it all: going on drives, eating milkshakes, laughing, and finding joy even when things were hard.

To my coaches, thank you for checking on me, believing in me, and always being a shoulder to cry on when I needed one.

And my teammates, thank you for celebrating every milestone I’ve had throughout this journey, no matter how small. Your support meant the world to me and kept me motivated.

This journey taught me patience, resilience, and gratitude in ways I never expected. I wouldn’t be here without the people who stood beside me every step of the way.

Now, after 9 long months, I get to do what I love again.

One last time🧡💙
