Friday Funday… girl’s ski. The snow might have been extra sticky and I might have sunk into a sink hole with the need to be dug out, but it was a beautiful day with beautiful women.

So what that I couldn’t get to work two days in a row this past week? Who cares that it was -14 with 50 MPH winds at one point? And yes I’ve had a helluv a cough that has lingered for way too long. This is why I live here, this is what I live for.

Yesterday was a good day. 52 (perpetually 21) feels good. Time spent outside and at home doing my favorite things with my favorite people. Thanks to all of you who wished me a happy day! It was. So fun to share it with one of my birthday twins @kianeillart

The perfect ending to 2023, a return to how it commenced. A night out in nature connecting to the fullness of the moon… the completeness of who I am in this moment. A reflection of the past year, what to leave behind and what may evolve in the year to come. ⁣

Let go… let what will come, be.⁣

After a couple of days of feeling a bit under the weather I finally made it out for my first XC ski of the season. Ahhh… so well worth the wait. Rush was ecstatic 🤩 I am so grateful. Perfect day to be on the trail.

All week long I watched the Aspens as they came into their peak. Each day, I repeated “hang on just a little longer, I’m coming.” I finally was able to get out for a short walk in the woods to walk amongst the splendor. I get so excited for this time every. single. year. It never disappoints.

Thanks for all the birthday wishes. How I celebrate my birthday has changed so much over the years. I worked through the day because I enjoy my job and the people I am blessed to work with. My night could not have been more special. A clear, beautiful, almost full moon ski with good friends. This was the best gift of all. #51feelsgood #fullmoonski #getoutside #blessed #bestgiftever #xcski #lovemylife
