My debut album ‘Spirits Back’ is out now in its entirety and available to purchase on pindn.bandcamp.com! 🎤🤘🏼🐺🤘🏼 This album was made possible with the support of the @fpcc.ca and so many other friends and relatives. Ancestors, loved ones and the support of community. ❤️ It feels so healing and cleansing to finally be releasing this collection of songs across the land and out there into the universe for loved ones in the spirit world to hear. Mourning songs for the people I miss. Honouring songs for the ‘na̲myut I love. a̲m’lala and celebration songs for all tribes and for those in recovery. Stories of the healing journey so far. A statement made towards injustice and oppression as we, collectively and cross-culturally, reclaim our Spirits Back! There has been a lot of challenges along the way but this was released when it was meant to be…. And after this?: more stories told through Hip-Hop, rhymes and beats will follow…. Very soon 🤘🏼🐺🤘🏼 - g̲ilakas’la and ƛ̓eekoo ƛ̓eekoo (thank you) 2: @laaain_music for helping guide the process. @code.prawn at @circle.a.studios for your hard, attentive work mastering these songs and helping control the chaos. @julianasech_ for helping bring my vision to life. @haus.of.owl for opening the space for us to do this important, meaningful work.
