💚💜💛Trio sock set 💛💜💚

The sock set saga is complete! I made these cute striped socks for the girls I’ve known since highschool. A way to commemorate an epic year (full of highs and lows), and a cute way to be reminded of this trip for years to come!

Knit using @langyarns_official #jawoolyarn with alternative stripes and contrast heel and toe. I followed @summer.lee.knits #ribbedsock pattern adding the stripe detail myself and using an afterthought heel construction for the first time.

As the 4,5&6th pairs of socks I’ve ever knit, I was pleased with the outcome, and enjoyed the afterthought heel more than expected. Those in my weekly knitting group will now never have to hear me rave about this technique for the foreseeable future (you’re welcome)🤗

Would you or have knit things for friends? Let me know ⬇️
