I'm incredibly proud to finally share that "KING" has officially been selected for the 2026 edition Fantasia International Film Festival. @fantasiafestival

What started as an idea became something truly special thanks to an extraordinary group of people who poured their time, talent, and passion into bringing this project to life. It was an absolute privilege to serve as Executive Producer, and I'm beyond grateful to have been part of this journey.

A huge thank you to Morgan Henry for trusting me with this opportunity and for your vision, dedication, and leadership throughout the entire process. I'm also incredibly thankful to Melayna Berthelet, Em Rasinger, and Anthony Lightbown for your unwavering commitment to the project from beginning to end.

And to the many talented people who helped make "KING" possible, I'll be tagging you below. This recognition belongs to all of us.

Seeing a film we've worked so hard on premiere at Fantasia is an unforgettable moment, and I couldn't be more excited for what's ahead.

See you at Fantasia.

Filmmakers, your soundtrack is NOT background noise. The soundtrack has the power to become the heart and soul of your story. It's easy to reach for prerecorded music, or drop in a popular song into your work. However, if you invest in original soundtracks written specifically for your work, you'll soon find that the music can drive home the emotion of your film in a way you never thought possible.

The clip you are watching is from @morganhenry_prod upcoming short film "KING". I'm so grateful to have written music for this project, and I'm so excited for you all to be able to watch it!

If you are looking for an original soundtrack for your upcoming film feel free to dm me (@carson_forkner_music) or email me (in bio)

This is by far one of my favorite shots from the film...

This shot is from my upcoming short film King. This is a tale of two young boxers competing to be the best in their sport, competing the ideas of ambition versus manipulation within the industry.

This film was one of the hardest endeavors I have ever done in my filmmaking career. It taught me lessons on how to run a set and how to promote a film seriously in the new age of social media. However, we are just getting started, so, any support for the film would be greatly appreciated and help get it infront of the audience it deserves.

If you wish to stay up-to-date with the release and promotion of the film you can follow @morganhenry_prod as the film will be releasing this summer in select screenings, theaters, and festivals.

We'll see you at the movies. King is coming.

We kept trying no matter what...

Over the last few months a group of my friends and I decided that we were gonna embark on the biggest adventure of our lives, making an incredibly ambitious film with all the money we could scrap together. And yes, it came with its share of complications, however, we all came out on the other side better artists and better friends.

I wouldn't trade this experience for the world. The fact that I was able to make a dream project with the pupil. I love most by my side speaking on my experiences. Both in the arts and with the sport of boxing. This film really just brought so many of my worlds together and allowed me to experience them with my friends by my side.

We do this because we love filmmaking. We couldn't do anything besides make movies and we were going to continue making movies. Even when the world seems bleak and that our industry is dying. We will continue to prevail as independent artist.

If you are interested in finding out more about this film, follow along @morganhenry_prod. We will be posting about the release this summer, that will be going to select theaters and film festivals.

KING IS COMING SOON.

LOADING...

King is currently in full post-production. It will be premiering this summer in local screenings in Montreal then in film festivals around the world. We can't wait to show the world what a group of 20 year olds managed to accomplish when they disregarded all their doubt and let themselves be lead by passion.

I have so much love for everyone involved in the project and I cannot wait for them to get their flowers for this incredible work. This experience has changed my life and I wouldn't trade it for the world. Thank you to the King team and all of our supporters, friends, and family for keeping this show going.

I can't believe I also have the pleasure of sharing the talents of @alessandroo.leonee and @charlesl.casimir to the world stage. These guys are the future.

King has been a light down the dark tunnel this year has been, it has guided me to hope and excitement. Pursue your dreams. You must. It is our obligation.

KING IS COMING.
