Set along the Han River in Seoul, Tunnel of Light transforms the urban landscape into an immersive passage of lasers, sound, and motion. Beams of light cut through the atmosphere like a visual transmission, creating a rhythmic dialogue between architecture, technology, and perception. As the laser forms shift across the tunnel, the space becomes both a pathway and an audiovisual instrument — where movement, sound, and light merge into one continuous experience. YOUHWAN,《Tunnel of light》, 2025 100m 5m 10m Spatial Interactive Media Installation Laser, Lighting, Multi-channel Sound, 13min 2025 Seoul Light Tunnel of Light Tunnel of Light is a site-specific media art installation located along the Han River in Seoul, the capital of South Korea. Installed beneath an elevated railway, the work responds to contemporary conditions in which material movement and digital flows intersect, beginning with the question: “Where are we, and how do we exist?” The work is activated at the moment a train departs. The vibrations and sounds generated by the moving train are captured in real time and translated into a flow of light and sound. As viewers move through the tunnel, they step away from the accelerated rhythm of the city and become newly aware of the space between stillness and movement. What is normally perceived as mere noise—the passing of the train—is sensorially reconfigured, prompting viewers to reflect on their own presence and position within the environment. 《빛의 터널》 한국의 수도 서울, 한강에 설치된 작품이다. 지하철 고가 하부에 전시된 이 장소 특정적 미디어아트 작업은 물질적 이동과 디지털 흐름이 교차하는 시대적 조건을 사유하기 위해 이 위치에 설치되었으며, “우리는 어디에 있으며, 어떻게 존재하고 있는가”라는 질문에서 출발한다. 지하철이 출발하는 순간 작품이 시작되고, 그때 발생하는 진동과 소리는 실시간으로 감지되어 빛과 사운드의 흐름으로 변환된다. 관객은 터널을 통과하며 빠르게 흘러가던 도시의 리듬에서 벗어나, 머무름과 이동 사이의 감각을 새롭게 인식한다. 평소 소음으로만 인식되던 지하철의 이동 순간은 감각적으로 재구성되고, 관객은 그 안에서 자신의 존재와 위치를 사유하게 된다. #mediaart #미디어아트 #lightingart #lightinginstallation #touchdesigner

《Tunnel of Light》 Installed beneath an elevated subway track, Tunnel of Light is a site-specific media installation that poses the question: “Where are we, and how do we exist?” in an age where material movement and digital flow intersect. . Peugeot New Car Launch Event Intro 《Rebirth》 is a media art piece that reinterprets the sensory and technological essence of the Peugeot 3008 through the language of light and rhythm. By utilizing multi-channel media in spatial composition, the work transforms the automobile from a functional object into a sensory experience, inviting the audience to immerse themselves and participate with their presence. In the beginning, flickering points of light sketch the outline of the 3008 in darkness, symbolizing the emergence of form and presence. As the piece progresses, lasers and displays gradually overlay the vehicle with texture and curves, while the fastback line evolves into a wave of living energy. Peugeot’s signature design elements—the i-Cockpit, the 3 Claws lights, and the lion-inspired silhouette—expand into a full spatial media expression, guiding the audience into an experience as if traveling through a heart made of light. In this moment of unveiling, the audience is invited not just to “see” the car, but to undergo a rebirth—to experience the feeling of becoming something new, through the sensory essence of Peugeot.
