I remember I was in a writing camp working on Still Lonely, and I get a call from my younger sister saying our dad was coming back. I literally laughed and said, “Yeah, OK.” Cuz when you hear the same broken promise for over 17 years it just becomes white noise. It was definitely a weird moment because a few months before that I found out I was gonna be a dad and all of a sudden I’m seeing my dad after 17 years. After meeting, I went back to my writing camp and made this song with my friends. Music is really my diary lol

I speak more about it on my interview on @swayinthemorning you should def check it out.

Giving Up Out Now!

Probably one of my most vulnerable records I’ve created. I know most of yall know me more for my hype records, but I hope that doesn’t turn you off from this song. These past 2 years life has been really crazy for me, and it’s been a journey trying to navigate the ups and downs, but what’s kept me grounded is not my own toughness or willpower, but really God. Knowing that no matter how hard life hits, and man has life’s been throwing some Mike Tyson punches, God still got me and my family even when it looks like he doesn’t.

Hope this song encourages you as much as it did me, and if you got a friend that’s going through it, send them this song foolie 🙏🏿🙌🏿 #linkinbio

BTS from the Giving Up Video Shoot

I know I keep saying this about every video, but this one is my favorite video by far. The acting, the emotion, meaning, takes the cake. I love how me and my team are locked in on pushing for great art. For me it’s not about becoming the biggest artist, but creating lasting impact, telling great stories. @ohdjones we onto something!

Some of my favorite shots from the Range! Music Video Link in bio to watch!

1st shot was really one of my favorites. A lot of people don’t know this, but a lot of my love for country came from attending the Naval Academy Preparatory School when I was 18. Was probably one of the most important times of my life that shaped who I am today. I met a lot of people from around the country and world who believed a lot of different things, some conservative some liberal, but they all had respect for each other and love for country. They were united under their future service. Though I only stayed for a year and didn’t continue to the Academy with my friends, respect for country stays with me to this day. But though I love my country I’m not so blinded to not see the holes, but I believe those holes can be fixed if we of different minds can come together and listen to each other. More Unity less hate. maybe I’m too optimistic lol, but Iits better to move with hope than distrust.

2nd shot is probably my favorite but ppl don’t know that @ohdjones bullied me to climb up a car with a bad knee a few months after surgery. But we had to get the shot 😂

3rd shot was dope because it shows a lot of the bike culture we have in south florida.

4-5 I love the grittiness of these shots. It adds dope element to the video.

6-7 love how the video starts in all black to set the tone of the seriousness of what @reconcileus is saying. I look up to Rec a lot because he’s someone who I’ve watched sacrifice a lot to better his community, even to his own detriment. A lot of people want to be comfy but he’s really tryna make a difference and it inspires me!

8 is just so tough. I know I was happy to be sitting down cuz my knee was tired lol. and there were like 100 mosquitoes tryna kill me smh.

9-10 @1kphew verse wa so dope, we had to hit a difffernt location to match the beat switch. To this day i think Ive gotten the best phew verse ever!

If you haven’t watched the music video, check it out and share it with someone! More Music coming soon! Presave my Album in my bio 🙌🏿
