Let home be home. A home should never feel like a showroom. It should feel like you. A place where everyone can laugh loudly, sit comfortably, make a little mess, tell old stories, create new memories, and simply be themselves. Because the best interiors are not just about colours, finishes or trends. They are about creating a space where people feel safe, comfortable, familiar and happy. A beautiful home is one where nobody has to perform. Where Grandma can remember. Where children can play. Where families can just… be. Good homes are built with feelings. Not just a makeover — a feeling brought back home. Neocoats Terrazzo Wall-to-Floor Texture Paint Available at ZiNterio, Mangalore. #ZiNterio #Neocoats #HomeIsAFeeling

Project : LOVE PER SQ.FT. In a city obsessed with square footage, this home makes a case for something far rarer: emotional space. Designed as a gift from a son to his parents, this 650 sq. ft. Bombay apartment is rooted in familiarity, restraint and the quiet luxury of feeling completely at home. A palette of warm beige, tactile wood and soft plastered surfaces creates a gentle continuity throughout, allowing the compact plan to unfold with surprising ease. At the entrance, a full-height mandir introduces a moment of stillness; nearby, an intimate dining nook gathers around a circular table, turning an everyday ritual into a spatial pause. Carved wooden details in the living room recall the memory of heirloom furniture, while the kitchen carries the same warmth through a richly layered material palette. The master bedroom is composed as a soft retreat, defined by a long plastered wall, cushioned edges and the grounding presence of timber underfoot. In the study, integrated cabinetry discreetly conceals a Murphy bed an elegant reminder that intelligent planning need never announce itself. The result is not a home that tries to appear larger. It simply feels fuller. Fuller in warmth. Fuller in memory. Fuller in meaning. Because perhaps the most enduring form of luxury is not excess at all, but the feeling that nothing more is needed. The design language of this home celebrates two ideas. Indian traditional—not frozen in time. Indian contemporary—not forgetting where it comes from. The bar sit-out captures this beautifully. Swipe for more ➡️➡️➡️ Photography: @a.niche.visuals Styling: @pss_india {Bar, Refurbished, Hertiage, Traditional, Contemporary, Interior Design, Luxury Design, Materials, Hosting} Details 🕵️‍♂️ The family already owned this intricately crafted timber home bar, and replacing it was never an option. Instead, we chose to continue its story. It blends into the primary living room seamlessly yet holds it’s space. Part 1 - A Panda marble top and skirting extend its footprint, making it more functional for the way the family entertains today. A subtle textured backdrop allows the timber craftsmanship to remain the focal point, while a floating veneer-and-metal unit above introduces a lighter, contemporary layer. Part 2 The result is not old meeting new ❌ Its tradition evolving 🍀 Balcony but inside the house 🖤 Original bar Trials Panda marble 🤌🏻

The first clue to the house is the entrance itself. Swipe ➡️➡️➡️ Team: @ansh.frame4 @antragamii @nandini_agrawal_ Photography: @a.niche.visuals Styling: @pss_india Execution: @grace_turnkey_projects {Entrance Foyer, Arched Way, Customisation, Marble, Wood, Metal, Details, Handle, Lighting, Luxury Interiors, Design} The foyer is a grand, off-centred arched volume that introduces the house. Within a 4 m × 2.6 m footprint, timber arches span the space before terminating at a floating entrance unit. The deliberate gap between the two creates a sharp break in both material and form. The relationship between the floating unit and the entrance door is one of those simple ideas that only become powerful when carried through with precision. And ofcourse it frames the house itself. The house starts becoming personal right at the entrance. The main door handle extends into the flooring as a custom metal inlay, telling a story developed specifically for the family. An heirloom bedpost has been repurposed as a floor lamp. Two flush doors sit quietly within the walls, allowing the architecture to take precedence over the joinery. It wasn’t the easiest detail to insert a door in a floating unit with a sharp gap. 🚪🤍 The experience doesn’t stop at the threshold. The same arched language continues into the lobby passage outside, making even the common corridor feel like an extension of the home. And the double door experience is seamless.

One door. Two identities. Perhaps that’s what makes a door so fascinating. It doesn’t simply separate spaces; it belongs to both. From the living, each door quietly dissolves into the architecture. Flushed with the walls, its textures and veneer allow it to become part of the space rather than interrupt it. Step through, and the very same door transforms. It adopts the language of the room beyond, with its own material, colour and details. The threshold remains the same. Its identity changes with the space it belongs to.
