🏃🏼‍♀️ RUNNING INTO RACE WEEK 🏁

The UK HYROX season kicks off in Birmingham, but for me, it’s race 6 (and 7) of 16!

After 3 weeks off, I’m hoping I can pull it out the bag! I know what I want from this race, but most importantly, I want to enjoy every second. My only solo race of the season (so far 👀), so let’s make it count!

And yes… didn’t I only add 2 races? 😂

Well, when you get a message asking you to do a relay while sat in a random café in Paris on a Monday morning, it’s hard to say no! And doing it in honour of Breast Cancer Awareness makes it even more special 🩷

I CANNOT WAIT to race with these girls! 🫶🏼 I’ve got a feeling this could be something special…🩷🩷

Organised chaos at its finest. Wouldn’t have it any other way. 🏁❤️

ITS RACE WEEK🔥

24 hours out from stepping back on the dance floor with @prosper.the.process

Can’t wait too see what progress has been made from both of us over past 6 months.

Comps have been on the back foot over summer with other priorities such as the BYU we did. However they are back in full swing and I am buzzing for it💪

5 comps/races over the next 4 weeks🗓️📌

Let’s start them with a bang as me and the boy aim to put up a sub 60👀

Can we do it?

Will need all the help we can get and that we have with @neon_perform supporting us this race helping the breathing so we don’t fall short🙌

Let’s have it!

Final big session boxed courtesy of @jakubriedel03

Wanted one final graft of a session that would test my ability to hold race pace. See workout Jakub give me below ⬇️

WU:

5 min easy run + 5x100m sprints on ski (30s R)

MAIN WORK:

7 MIN BLOCK X 8

600m run @ 4:10
75% of station
Remaining time run @ 4:10

90s R

ALL STATIONS IN ORDER and AT RACE PACE. Wall balls you do 100 for the last round instead off 75.

CD:

5 min regressive easy run to walk

Was a belter of a session and felt strong running off each station🔥

Now it’s race week and time to see what we can do💪
