I’ve taken some time to reflect after this weekend.

First, I want to thank Masaya, Josh, and every athlete I had the opportunity to battle. Competing against athletes of their level pushed me to perform at my absolute best, and I have nothing but respect for all of them.

I’ve also seen a lot of the conversations online.

People will always have different opinions after a close battle—that’s part of competition. But this experience reminded me that, long after the results are forgotten, our character is what people will remember.

My generation will someday help carry this sport forward. This weekend made me realize the kind of person I want to be when that time comes. I want to be someone who lifts others up, competes with respect, and leads with humility, compassion, and positivity. I want to use every platform I have to bring people together, not tear them apart.

Every comment, post, and video influences someone who’s just discovering tricking. Younger athletes are watching us. They’re learning not only through our tricks, but through the way we treat one another. I hope we can give them something worth looking up to.

Tricking has given me so much, and I’m committed to giving back. I want to help this community grow, inspire the next generation, and leave this sport better than we found it.

Let’s keep pushing each other to new levels, but let’s also remember that our words carry weight. We can disagree without creating negativity or diminishing someone’s hard work. Respect should always come first.

Congratulations again to Masaya, thank you to the judges, every athlete, and Loopkicks for making this event possible.

I’ll keep training, keep learning, and keep doing my best to become a better athlete, a better person, and someone who represents this community well.

The future of tricking is in all of our hands. Let’s make it something the next generation will be proud to inherit. ❤️🙏
