For one night, Het Dorp Amsterdam turns into a giant radio station.

Each floor broadcasts a different sound. Just change the station by changing the floor.

Floor 1 – The East
Balkan music, Bulgarian chalga, turbofolk, and Yugoslav funk.

Floor 2 – Karaoke Station
Eurotrash and turbofolk karaoke. Sing your favorite guilty pleasures with us.

Floor 3 – The West
Disco, club classics, breakbeat and garage. A floor inspired by Western club culture.

A clash of East and West under one roof.

CZAR (“cee-zar”) is a Rotterdam-based DJ who blends all type of Afro-electronics and Afrodiasporic rythms with UKG- and other Global Club-sounds. Sporadically throwing his own edits in the mix in combination and deep-diving into genres to improve his track selection is what drives his passion; a real crate-digger.

As cherry on the cake, I will be closing The Couch Afrodiaspora Edition at Superdisco. Expect genres ranging from Afro-electronics to the other side of the Global South represented by Baile Funk, Dembow, Dancehall & Bouyon. I’m really hounered to be closing this edition, so don’t take it personal if I fuck up the club.
