POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

It is way hard to get a picture that shows off the incredible detail and colors in this blanket. Some numbers if you’re kind of nerdy like me.

Pattern: https://www.ravelry.com/people/Shelbyshea/new_library?volume_id=589653506

Yarn: * I worked off of stash and making estimations on yardage.
Black acrylic worsted weight/4: roughly 3,000 yards
Bright color: Redheart Retro Stripes. Roughly 2,500 yards

Time: 66 hours-ish. This doesn’t count for mistakes I have to reworks, knots to unstable, or reworking a row when a factory knot shows up.

How do we make magic?
SLOWLY 🐌
It takes weeks and weeks to grow a crochet project, and here is a little snippets of how my Bay View Blanket grew over months. It is a wonderful thick double sided mosaic blanket and pattern from @nerdprincessdesigns is coming soon!

Look at him! 🤩💚🐮 I still have to do the final border, but I am too excited to wait to share this blanket! Thank you so much Bronagh for the mosaic crochet tutorial, I am absolutely hooked! 😉 And after seeing this gorgeous pattern I knew this would be my first project! On to the next blanket! (I definitely have moved into my blanket era from my scarf era). 😆 #Grannyera #crochetofinstagram #mosaiccrochet
