I have some new followers recently and I've been reflecting on how far I have come, since my health scare and how grateful I am to be here.

My spiritual awakening came when I launched my dream studio, and twenty days later my body stopped me on stage. For years, I had carried a vision.

As a teenager, I imagined creating a performing arts space where children and adults could learn, express, belong and grow. Later, after training in Kathak in India, performing internationally and building the Dancing Nikita Company, that vision became real.

In September 2011, I cut the ribbon to my own dance studio. It was one of those moments that looked like destiny fulfilled. The dream had walls. The vision had a name. The younger version of me who had once longed to belong had somehow built a space where others could belong through dance.

And then, exactly twenty days later, while performing abroad, I started coughing on stage. At first, I carried on as performers do. I turned away from the audience, hid what was happening, pushed through the choreography and finished the performance. Then I ran off stage and saw blood.

What followed was a frightening season of scans, investigations, major surgery, uncertainty and eventually a chronic health diagnosis. The body I had relied on to dance, teach, lead and hold everything together had interrupted the life I had just built.

For a long time, I saw it as betrayal from my body, but now I understand it differently. My body was not only stopping me from dancing. It was asking me to listen to the way I had been carrying responsibility, identity and purpose. It was asking whether willpower had become the force holding together a life that needed a new rhythm.

Your body is not separate from your purpose. It is part of the path. Where are you still carrying a life your body can no longer hold? As I said in my Tedx talk, your Dharma is not waiting to be discovered. It is waiting to be danced.

💫What an incredible 2 days at the Search ‘n Stuff Antalya Conference!

I had the honour of speaking on “Ad Copy Optimisation with AI: Leveraging GAI Models for Higher CTRs”. It was awesome to share my PPC experiments to spark our minds! Being part of the Search ‘n Stuff family from its early days to now presenting on stage feels surreal.

A huge round of applause to @yagmursimsk for organising this wonderful conference. Her expertise, professionalism, and management skills truly shone through in bringing everyone together for this enriching experience. She is the main STAR, and I can’t thank her enough for including me in this conference. I am always impressed by her, and I know this will continue ⭐️

As the first official team member of Search ‘n Stuff, it’s been incredible to see this journey from the beginning to such a successful event. It’s a testament to how far Search ‘n Stuff has come and the bright future ahead for digital marketing innovation.

I met awesome people and learned a lot from them! Not only about digital marketing but also received heartfelt, empowering, supportive advice from them! I feel so grateful that our paths crossed with these amazing people!
