What is dark without light
And success without failure?
How can so much be taken from one who infinitely gives?
Juxtaposition becoming the theme,
I’d rather not find out…yet still I cross this curiosity.

These tides that pull us into many different oceans,
Which body of water are we truly swimming in?
They ask us to right our wrongs, yet we often lack the consistency to continue with what’s right.
Eventually your clairvoyance can be your misguidance.

Be easy with yourself, but be tough with your discipline - there’s no room for honesty.
They say to talk yourself up to be confident, but they also say not to lie.
What to do if we find ourselves living both the sin and the word?

Made in his image - we’re perfect imperfections,
A mirror lets me see only our disguise.
How long until the sun sets on our side,
Only for it to rise on the other?
Is it truly ever night if there is sun where there is life?

We ask a question in hopes of getting a different answer than what we already know.
Some just want an answer in general.
Others don’t want anything.
I don’t understand why life is so confusing…
An infinite loop that doesn’t close, we live in the paradox.

To my dear brothers and sisters in Christ, especially young passionate leaders in church . There is a security that comes in knowing who(se) you are. You know this already, but I just want to say, find your identity in Jesus.Find out how and why it is that he died for you. What does that say about you? What does that say about HIM? Recognize the weight of that and let it lead you in your calling. Let it drive your passions. Let it serve as a reminder that by His blood, you are enough. The church is beautiful. She’s wonderful. She’s not perfect. The only perfect one is Jesus. At times….(hopefully not often)You might feel let down, uninvited, or unseen…(because human beings 😩) When it happens…..remember, Jesus. Our sweet wonderful counselor and friend. Remember the price he paid for you and how much you mean to Him. Let that truth take residence in your heart. Let that truth lead you to a place of forgiveness, humility, and grace. Let it lead you to confidence, authority, and assurance knowing that you are set apart to do great things in His name. Keep going🤎
