1984 DYSTOPIAN DISCOTHEQUE - MAY 1 - TICKETS ON SALE NOW! Advance tickets include a specialty mocktail from @apothekela. Featuring a live performance from @possibleoceans Possible Oceans, the genre bending electronic rock project led by LA artist / producer Trevor O’Neill, combines pulsing synths, fuzzed out guitars, and thumping drums with intimate vocals to create a fresh sound that has drawn comparisons to Foals, The Horrors, Tame Impala, and Soulwax. The latest releases find O’Neill and co-conspirator Will Walden diving deeper into electronic music, always through the lens of their rock roots. photo by @mariakn__

MAY 1 - TICKETS ON SALE NOW! Advance tickets include a specialty mocktail from @apothekela. Ticket link in bio. Featuring a live performance from @carrecarremusic + President Drone. CARRÉ is a dark, moody synth-industrial-pop at its somber best with ominously galloping beats. President Drone is the anti-hero of our technological dystopian age. CARRÉ is all about conception, abstraction and distortion of reality. President Drone is deciphering the nightmares of our modern age in an attempt to shine a light on the shadows within and without us all. Together, they blend industrial rhythms with cinematic drones, they construct immersive soundscapes that feel both intimate and apocalyptic. Photo by @mariakn__

Haven’t posted here for a while but I wanted to share something I’m super excited about. For some time now I’ve had a secret dream of putting on a curated night of music and dancing but didn’t quite know how to pull it off. Late last year I decided to finally make it happen and after a few months of work behind the scenes with my co-conspirator @kveeen, the first event is fast approaching. The first installment of 1984 Dystopian Discotheque will be May 1 at The Forge in LA. My band @possibleoceans will be playing along with @carrecarremusic + President Drone. This will be followed by a DJ set by @blackpaw. Our dear friend @netchaiev will be on hand serving up incredible live visuals all night long. We’ll have a tattoo artist on site some other surprises up our sleeve. Tix are on sale now (link in bio) and advance tickets include a specialty cocktail from @apothekela. If you’re in LA come out and bring your dancing shoes! Hope to see you there!
