We’re very happy to share this sweet ode to a ritual of motherhood by @netreynolds. If you’re a Blue’s Clues @officialbluesclues fan, you’ll especially appreciate it.

And we’re open to submissions for our weekly Object-ives flash personal essay section of 500-999 words on a possession you own or have owned and can’t stop thinking about. We have spots open from September-December and the section is filling up, so keep the essays coming! Our writing guidelines for Object-ives are linked at the end. Another favorite story I worked on during the past year for @resolve_mag was about Nettie Reynolds. She’s a chaplain with @hospiceaustin and an all-around wonderful person. We talked about how her job has changed in response to the pandemic, and she happened to mention that hula hooping with her next door neighbor was one of her favorite ways to relieve stress.
