Thank you to everyone who came to support and those who have been supporting me from afar♥️ I'm glad I was able to meet so many amazing people ( wish I had graduation photos with you all). A fashion show we never got growing up, but always deserved. What would it have meant to you to see a show like this when you were younger?

Our show starred Atlanta-based models, many walking the runway for the very first time. As you can see, they moved like they’d been waiting their whole lives for this. 🤩

Wearing stunning, sustainably-made clothes and accessories by brands we partner with, like @nomadsswimwear, @tamara.malas, @baacal, and @able, @kitty_and_vibe, @loloonkauai, @pamutapparel, @seerosego, @tomboyx, and @shop.reistor

Before the show, some told us they couldn’t believe they were chosen to model in our fashion show. That they couldn’t believe this was actually happening. 🥹

This is what fashion shows should feel like: Joyful. Powerful. Full of people you want to be friends with.

Our founder @kateherenow said it best: “We get to show the world how beautiful bodies are in every shape and size.” And we did!! 🎉

Let's take a moment to recognize and celebrate Dr. Griffin El for all of her amazing wins last week at the Rockwell School of Business. On Monday Dr. Griffin El was awarded Educator of Year by the NAACP, directed and collaborated with the Black Student Union and The Massey Center in hosting the Ubuntu Dinner, and most importantly shared her wonderful birthday in Massey Gardens with her Business Model Innovation Lab class. We love and adore you, Dr. Griffin El! 🎉🎉

This past Monday, four inspiring entrepreneurs visited Robert Morris University and shared their powerful stories with the attendees of the Inaugural Ubuntu Dinner. The dinner, which was named after a beautiful Southern African philosophy that means "I am because you are", was organized by the Massey Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation in collaboration with RMU's Black Student Union, led by BSU President Cheyenne Rhone, and VP Spencer Jackson. We are grateful for the presence of RMU President Michelle Patrick and Rockwell School of Business Dean Prasad Vemala at the event.

During the dinner, the visionary guests' stories of entrepreneurship inspired the students to create spaces of compassion and empowerment for others. Their words planted seeds of courage and purpose in every person who attended, making them a part of our entrepreneurial family. We would like to express our gratitude to Sharnay Hearn Davis, Tierra Thorne, Syreeta Gordon, and Rafiyq Cromwell for leading these young entrepreneurs to see what's possible. Finally, we extend a special thank you to Grace Faye for her hard work in organizing this event. The evening was a huge success, and we were honored to have such incredible guests share their stories with us.
