Still finding the words to describe just how special this past week has been.

Our very first Forbes Club Bali Wellness Retreat at the stunning @tanahgajahubud exceeded every expectation.

An incredible week of genuine connections, powerful conversations, laughter, vulnerability, personal growth and memories that will last a lifetime.

We all arrived needing something different, yet somehow left with exactly what we needed.

One thing this week reinforced is that true wealth isn’t measured by money or success, but by your health, your happiness and the people you surround yourself with.

Sometimes the most powerful thing you can do is step away from the noise, slow down and reconnect with what truly matters.

A huge thank you to our incredible speakers for sharing their knowledge and wisdom, and to everyone who trusted us and embraced this experience wholeheartedly.

We arrived as individuals and left with friendships and connections that will last a lifetime.

You can always make more money, but you can’t buy back your health or your time.

More than just a retreat. A life-changing experience.

Beautifully brought together by @thebossofbali and @itsmichaellane - a room filled with inspiring minds, meaningful conversations, and people who are constantly looking to grow, challenge themselves and reach another level.

Grateful to everyone I met, spoke with, and shared the evening with. It’s amazing how one conversation, one perspective, or one new connection can spark an entirely new way of thinking.

My biggest takeaway from the night: growth rarely happens in isolation. Surround yourself with people who think differently, dream bigger, and inspire you to see beyond where you are today.

Can money make you more unhappy than being broke?

I asked @haydenlowen what money hasn't solved for him. His answer: the mindset of lack. Hit one goal and your brain finds the next thing to chase: a new holiday, better travelling, better countries.

When you're broke, he says, you can live on the hope that money will fix it. When you've got the money and you're still not happy, you have no hope.

No job. No savings. Nowhere to sleep.

That's how Hayden Lowen arrived on the Gold Coast, with nothing but an idea he couldn't shake.

His first store made nothing. Most people would have walked away. Hayden doubled down.

Then he shared the words tattooed on his skin:

"I judge you unfortunate because you have never lived through misfortune. You have passed through life without an opponent. No one can ever know what you are capable of, not even you."

That last line hit me hard. Sometimes the chapter that brings you to your knees is the one that teaches you how to stand.

As the saying goes, success is going from failure to failure without losing your enthusiasm. This is a story about losing everything and finding the grit to keep going. 🎙️
