Here’s a drawing I did a while back, continuing my music fan art series and variant album covers for my senior illustration thesis project!

For this piece, I did some fan art for the local band @nevercutdownagain. They have a great, punchy, classic HC sound, and I highly recommend checking them out, especially if you’re a fan of old-school New York and New Jersey hardcore.

They’re based out of Perth Amboy, so this graphic depicts the iconic cryptid, the Jersey Devil, destroying the city of Perth Amboy! 👹

Hope y’all enjoy the video and the drawing! I had a lot of fun playing around with crosshatching in Procreate, since that’s a technique more commonly associated with traditional art.
