random system episode 1

Today I stumbled upon an incredible interview between Renato Guttuso and Indro Montanelli, and it really inspired me. But just like Guttuso said, I wanted to treat that inspiration as a real practice.
So I sat down at my computer and started trying, over and over again, even though something inside me was telling me it wasn’t the right moment.

First dropped a year ago as a Bandcamp exclusive, this track is a wild blend of genres, flipping that classic Dalida @dalida_officielle sample and layering it with Amerie’s @amerie iconic vocal work.

Now, Lapo Underground is teaming up with Double Underscore We Love Comics to give the release the attention and identity it truly deserves. They’ve spent the whole year dialing in the aesthetic, combining Lapo’s sound with custom visuals from WLC to finally bring the complete vision for this track to life.

📀 Track 02 from I Am Worth It EP: I Am Worth It (IO VALGO)
OUT NOW EVERYWHERE
[WLC VISUAL]

Lapo Underground - I AM WORTH IT is a vibrant sonic journey that honours the richness of human worth, reaching far beyond any label. Sparked by Lapo Underground’s experience at EXPOAID Rimini 2026, Italy’s national celebration of inclusion, the project emerged as the artist curated and composed music for a groundbreaking high-fashion runway, where people with disabilities graced the catwalk in couture. What started as a singular performance blossomed into a heartfelt exploration, transforming into a deeply human musical statement. Through its four chapters, I AM WORTH IT weaves an emotional tapestry of welcome, uncertainty, awareness, and belonging, drawing inspiration from the artist’s own family ties to disability. This is not simply a story about disability; it is a tribute to the innate dignity within every person, and a testament to how love, education, and genuine inclusion can transcend stereotypes. Blending House, Deep, and Organic textures, I AM WORTH IT calls us to truly hear the person before their story, reminding us that genuine inclusion begins when we see differences not as barriers but as threads in the fabric of our shared humanity.
