¤ All That Glitters Bleeds ¤

The Siren from Jibaro.

This character stayed with me long after the episode ended. To me, she represents beauty, vulnerability, and what happens when someone is valued more for what can be taken from them than for who they are.

I was lucky enough to photograph this incredible cosplay by @nevermindthejinx at Comic-Con Cape Town 2026. I edited the image in black and white to draw attention to the textures, shadows, and fragments of light woven throughout the costume.

Captured and edited by me. ♡

Jibaro from Love, Death & Robots brought a hypnotic and haunting presence to Comic Con Cape Town 2026.

The incredible attention to detail in this cosplay stood out immediately — from the intricate gold plating to the embedded jewels that caught the light with every movement. The craftsmanship elevated the entire look into something truly cinematic, perfectly matching the surreal and eerie energy of the character.

- comic con 2026
This was my very first comic con, and what an amazing experience. Leading up to this weekend, my friends and I spent months planning and creating our cosplays. Being my very first cosplay, they helped me out so so much and was able to bring life to my dnd character which I play in our campaign. The amount of love, detail and care that went into my cosplay is something I treasure fondly. I also met new friends who share in the excitement of cosplay and culture, and hanging out with them at this event brought so much joy and excitement.
Thanks guys ✨

At last, my @comicconcapetown 2026 recap!

I'm still mind boggled by how epic this year's event was. From the guests to the cosplay to the food (if I dont grt dweet and sour chicken at least ONCE per event I consider myself a failure) the friends the artists and businesses...it was, as the kids say, F*CKING PEAK.

It was a chaotic few days for me tho, but I wouldn't have had it any other way if it meant I got to share a stage with @frostykity again!!

If you see someone you know, hit me with their tag! Hopefully I'll still be able to attend my first @comicconafrica later this year but for now, see you next year CCCT!🥰🌸✌🏼

The sold out second day of @comicconcapetown 2026 was full of cosplay surprises and delights on the show floor. Here are a few of the favourites we encountered.

P.S. Good luck to the cosplayers today in the wet, cold weather!
