"What is a good life?", a question that has haunted me since freshman year of college. And after four years, I think I finally have some kind of an answer.

It's hard to explain, but from what I've learned, I think the key to leading a good life is being comfortable with the idea of living, being content with what you have while still pursuing what will make you better, and enjoying the company of those around you. Being in and out of friendships and relationships, questioning my own purpose and place in the universe, and introducing myself to new people almost every day has given me a great amount of experience, and for once, as strange as it sounds, I feel like I know what it means to be human.

Saint Anselm College has been a space that has given me so much pain and frustration, but it has also given me the opportunity to influence and be influenced by so many people. My only regret is that I could not enjoy more of my time with the people I came to know and love while attending.

As I close this chapter in my life, which, may I say, was perhaps the most grueling and painful character arc I've had to endure, I remember a quote from It's a Wonderful Life: "No man is a failure who has friends." Truly, it was the people around me that gave me the strength to go on. I'm so glad to have found people to surround myself with who have given me so much, whether intentionally or not. Thank you all for your constant love and support. I will try my best to give back as much as I can.
