@ian.party dessine des caractères depuis plus de vingt ans. En 2020, il repart à zéro et crée @newglyph avec l’idée de construire un nouveau catalogue autour des caractères variables. S’il maîtrise ce nouveau standard technique et créatif, Ian s’appuie aussi sur l’histoire de la typographie, surtout française, pour développer sa pratique. Il observe les usages pour s‘améliorer sans cesse. «La typo n’est pas le produit fini. Le produit fini, c’est le graphisme.»

Et puis Newglyph : comment construire un catalogue, produire, vendre et faire vivre une fonderie aujourd’hui.

C’est l’EP84, disponible sur toutes les plateformes d’écoute.

Studio CC a accompagné La Scala Paris dans le développement de son identité visuelle et de ses campagnes. Nous avons imaginé un langage graphique capable de réunir théâtre, musique, danse ou cirque, tout en laissant à chaque artiste et à chaque spectacle la possibilité de conserver sa propre expression.
Au centre du système, une typographie très présente vient structurer des images volontairement plus libres, traversées par le mouvement. L’écriture manuscrite agit comme une trace supplémentaire, plus spontanée, qui relie l’identité à l’expérience de la scène.
Pour la saison 2026–2027, ce langage continue de vivre et de se déployer dans Paris. Dans le métro, la succession des affiches révèle particulièrement la logique du projet : les images et les artistes changent, mais l’ensemble reste identifiable.
Nous aimons penser les identités comme des systèmes ouverts, capables d’évoluer, d’être appropriés et de continuer à produire de nouvelles formes au-delà de leur première expression.

By @pathengart: The magazine “In Amerika” is a retrospective look at the year 2020 and the events in America with texts from “Die Zeit” and accompanying photographs by Robert Frank from the 1960s. In the magazine, I wanted to show the shift of the American society at the time, but also the clash of the two sides and a feeling of discomfort. I tried to work with the images and texts in a way that they influence and support each other. So that the image and text aren’t just content, but also inform the design of each page.
