This video takes you behind the scenes and shows how we prepared for our performance at the Town Center Laurel event.

Our rehearsals took place at New Gold Studio in Maryland, where we brought everything together before taking the stage. Representing the Afrobeats culture in the DMV is something I’ll always be passionate about, and every opportunity to perform is another chance to showcase our music, energy, and culture.

The event turned out to be an amazing experience, and we had the privilege of entertaining an incredible crowd, including the Mayor of Laurel, Maryland. It was a great platform to introduce our sound to a wider audience and connect with the community through live music.

This clip features one of the songs we rehearsed before the show and gives you a glimpse into the work that happens before the performance. I hope you enjoy this behind-the-scenes look as much as we enjoyed creating it.

“Keep growing” was the theme when we sat down with @_annissab23 ahead of her #TheLivingSpaceSessions performance to hear the story behind her moving and resilient anthem “Still Here.”
