ONE YEAR OF TRUNKS & HUNKS 🌊🩵

What a morning celebrating our 1st anniversary!

A sea dip, BBQ, plenty of coffee and laughs, with the @newhavenrnli joining us to share some really valuable water safety advice. 🛟

It was brilliant to see so many familiar faces, some new ones, and even have some of the guys come over from Eastbourne to celebrate with us.

Just a group of men, coming together, getting in the sea and looking out for one another.

Thank you to everyone who came down and made the morning what it was.

Year two… we go again. 🌊🤝

Saturday Vibes ✨

Sunshine, smiles, beautiful gifts, and lovely conversations. 🧡

Days like today remind me that Take Good Care is about so much more than shopping. It's about connection, kindness, and finding thoughtful gifts that bring a little joy to someone's day.

A huge thank you to everyone who stopped by to say hello and support my small business at the RNLI summer Fayre in Newhaven.

Love, Barbara x 💛

We’re down at the RNLI Summer Fayre today, supporting an amazing day for a fantastic cause. 💙

If you’re around, pop over to the Trunks and Hunks stand for a chat. Whether you’re already part of our sea dipping community or just curious about what we do, we’d love to meet you.

We’re all about bringing men together through cold water, conversation and community. No pressure, no expectations – just a welcoming group looking out for one another.

A huge thank you to the RNLI for having us. The work they do to keep people safe at sea is nothing short of incredible. 🌊🚤

See you soon!

⚓ Tonight at 8pm, tune into @channel4 as "Dover24/7 Britain's Busiest Port" continues.

Port of Dover Police have a very busy night shift, the local community in the town is treated to the arrival of a stunning replica of a 17th-century ship, the "Galeon Andalucia", and the Marina team welcomes an @RNLI Lifeboat from @newhavenrnli

📺 All this and more, only on Channel 4 tonight at 8pm.

🌊 The 𝗠𝗶𝗱-𝗦𝘂𝗺𝗺𝗲𝗿 𝗙𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗮𝗹 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗦𝗲𝗮 was a resounding success! Thank you to everyone who attended and to the stall holders for making it happen!

🍽 Huge thanks to The Galley who kept us all fed and watered throughout the day, not an easy task with so many, but they took it in their stride 👏

🏄 Thank you also to Brighton Watersports for all their hard work, professionalism and for sharing their buoyancy-aids for use on the have-a-go sailing rides🙌

⛵ We had 53 people sign up for the have-a-go trips on our catamarans! There was a queue on the beach as ‘passengers’ waited for the next boat to arrive. Boats were quickly unloading and embarking new riders like a regular shuttle service (or like the water-buses in Venice😉)

A big thank you to our team of winch operators, cat sailors and the cadets who launched and recovered the boats all afternoon👍🙌🥳

🎸 Thanks to the three bands who performed for the evening on our sunset deck: The Wreckers, Midnight Resolution, and Junkyard Pilots (who got a crowd on the dance floor 🕺🥳)

👏 👏 Lastly but by no means least, a round of applause to the organisational team and to everyone who helped on the day. It’s never an easy ride organising a large event like this; planning for every eventuality and pulling all the different opinions and organisations together. They worked incredibly hard and pulled it off magnificently👍
