✨ FINAL FIND 2026: STYLIST ROUND - WEEK 1

Round 1 of the Stylist Round is officially here, and @thesarahcorcoran is kicking things off with a fun, Sixties-inspired look! 💜

Using a sequin floral dress from the mystery bag as her starting point, Sarah embraced pastel tones, metallics and vintage accessories to bring her vision to life.

Here’s what Sarah had to say about her styling choices:

“The main piece from the mystery bag that I built my look around was this sequin, floral, full-length dress. I just love the pastel tones and retro vibe. Metallic and pastels are one of my favourite pairings, so I decided to do a fun and cute sixties look. I had a pair of platform heels in my wardrobe that were a perfect match to the dress. I’ve paired it with a ruffled purple shrug and net bag from the charity shop. I used the silver obi belt from the mystery bag and layered it with a nude corset belt to give it some interesting texture and make it a bit more modern. I also layered a chunky gold statement necklace from the mystery bag with a silver and a pastel statement necklace of my own to tie all the silver and golds together. I accessorised with some vintage clip on earrings, a sixties style hairband and a fun plastic ring.”

Here’s what Claire had to say about the inspiration behind her look:

“The moment I opened my bundle from Enable Ireland, I knew my theme would be Old Hollywood Glamour, inspired by the timeless elegance of the stars of the silver screen.

For the first look, I’ve paired a beautiful black velvet waistcoat with hand-beaded pearl detailing and a dazzling red sequinned pencil skirt. I felt these two pieces were striking enough to speak for themselves.

For the final look, I’ve added a textured wool peplum jacket, creating a beautifully defined waist and that classic, feminine Hollywood silhouette. I’ve completed the styling with statement pearl earrings, an off-white glass-style necklace, a structured evening bag and square-toe slingback heels with a touch of spar

At its core, Dublin Independent Fashion Week is all about celebrating Ireland’s creative talent and pushing contemporary Irish design onto the world stage. That’s why ‘POSTMARKED’, our @dublin_ifw Opening Ceremony at the GPO was such a massive milestone for all of us. By bringing 60 emerging and established designers from across the country into one historic space, we sent a clear message: we’re not just hosting a week of events, we’re building a permanent home for independent fashion talent here in Ireland.

Executing a feat of this scale at the General Post Office, the most iconic building in Irish history, was made possible through An Post’s (@anpostofficial) unwavering commitment to Irish culture and heritage. By opening their doors to our vision, they helped us bridge Ireland’s rich history with its creative future.

We could never have imagined creating something of this magnitude without the incredible community behind us. To every designer, creative, and team member who brought this vision to life, we are beyond grateful.

What’s your favourite prop?

First time creating a @dublin_ifw fashion show!

I can’t still believe how incredible was this day!
The best things in my life started with a “what if”

What if I paint a fashion show? What if we represent Irish nature into the runaway? What if we mix knitting and painting?

When I sent the idea for @dettaknitwear and @g.bowman_designs I had no clue about what exactly I wanted to create, I just knew we could make something great using our own voices.

For Dúlra: From Solstice to Storm, I wanted to bring my art practice onto the runway in a way I had never done before.

My creative process starts before I know what I’m going to create. Before I can even visualise the whole thing. I have only a brush and a dream!

And this dream wouldn’t be possible without you ❤️
