POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

The first weeks of school have been filled with so much joy! 💜 My team and I have loved visiting our schools, connecting with students and staff, and learning about all the exciting things happening across our district.

We’re just getting started! We’ll continue visiting schools, celebrating the incredible work happening in our communities, and finding inspiration along the way.

We are all smiles because of our leaders at @bsap_markham @newmarkham. 😊 They have worked diligently to create art pieces that explore and educate their peers and community on substance use disorders and mental health. The growth we have seen since the start of the program brings us great joy. 🥰 Next week, we’ll be wrapping up the program and it’s making us a little teary-eyed because they will be missed. ♥️

Back in 2022 when our smart pencil program was being developed to help the youth with their mental health journey we knew we needed a perfect eraser for the youth hold and understand in their hands.

During a visit to @wondercon 2022 I @realdavidkelley had the honor of meeting Bobby Clark Original Gorn from Star Trek and had the opportunity to spend the next 3 days talking and learning about his acting career and including serving in the US Navy “USS Yorktown”

Bobby was a stunt coordinator most of his career in Hollywood and was in over 100 movies & TV shows from:

The 10 Commandments
The Great Race
&
Rawhide
Gunsmoke
Star Trek (Gorn)

Many many more

His favorite was working with Clint Eastwood on Rawhide.

I shared with Bobby that we were starting a smart pencil program for the youths mental health for free and needed a action figure eraser that was a real person that made things disappear and that’s when Bobby came up with “Gorn Gorn Gone” eraser with Gorn frame by frame with lines on opposite side from movies that Bobby was working in and a Cowboy at heart✏️

Example:
So it be written so it be done
(10 commandments)

Currently Gorn Erasers are in schools & youth programs a part of our U8 Training #smartpencilprogram
✏️FREE✏️ here in California.

2 honor Bobby Clark and inspire the youth💕

Special Thank you 2 his wife
🌹JUDY🌹 for giving us the honor 2 honor him💕
