***DRY NEEDLING***

Dry needling is a treatment where a trained clinician inserts very thin needles into tight or painful muscle trigger points to reduce tension, improve movement, and relieve pain. It’s commonly used by physical therapists, sports medicine clinicians, and chiropractors.

Main benefits (short summary)

* Reduces muscle pain and tightness
* Improves mobility and flexibility
* Helps release trigger points (“muscle knots”)
* Can decrease headaches and tension-related pain
* May speed recovery after injury or overuse
* Improves blood flow and muscle function

It’s different from acupuncture because it’s based on modern musculoskeletal medicine rather than traditional Chinese medicine. Some soreness afterward is common, but treatments are usually brief and well tolerated.

***SHOCKWAVE THERAPY***

Shockwave therapy is a non-invasive medical treatment that uses high-energy sound waves to stimulate healing in injured or painful areas of the body. It’s commonly used for musculoskeletal conditions, especially in physiotherapy and sports medicine.

Key benefits

* Promotes healing: Stimulates blood flow and tissue regeneration
* Reduces pain: Can decrease chronic pain by affecting nerve signals
* Non-invasive: No surgery or long recovery time required
* Improves mobility: Helps restore movement in affected areas
* Breaks down calcifications: Useful for conditions like calcific tendonitis

It’s often used for issues like plantar fasciitis, tennis elbow, and shoulder pain.

I wrote this song on November 22nd 2018. I wrote it 2 days after my Grandma’s funeral. I wasn’t ever planning to release it, but the song has gone on to be one of my biggest, and most impactful records.

Before I perform it I usually ask the crowd to raise a light in their phone, as every light can represent a halo of someone each person has loved and lost. The first time I performed it acapella, was because the backing track f**ked up, but performing it acapella added to the moment. It became its own moment, way bigger than me. Every word hit home a bit more.

The song is called halos. 🖤
